According to the requirements of manufacturing materials and cold storage industry, cold room panels can be divided into the following two categories:
1. Polystyrene foam sandwich panel for cold room
Definition: cold storage panel polystyrene foam sandwich panel is made of color steel sheet as the surface, closed flame retardant polystyrene foam as core material, through an automatic continuous molding machine, the color steel panel is pressed and molded with high strength to form an efficient mechanism material.
Features: lightweight, good heat insulation and low-temperature resistance. But its water absorption is large, and there is a cold shrinkage phenomenon, so it needs to be cut and pasted with adhesive during construction. If the temperature is too high, the foamed plastics will melt. Polystyrene foam used for thermal insulation of cold storage also requires self-extinguishing performance of the product to meet the requirements of small room fire retardant.
2. Rigid polyurethane foam sandwich panel for cold room
Definition: taking light polyurethane as the inner material of the cold storage panel, the advantage of polyurethane is that its heat insulation performance is very good. The outer part of the polyurethane cold storage panel is made of SII, PVC color steel panel, and stainless steel panel components. The advantage of doing this is to prevent the temperature spread of cold storage panel due to the large temperature difference between the inside and outside, to make the cold storage more energy-saving and improve the working efficiency of cold storage.
Features: it is a kind of heat insulation material that can be foamed on site. It has the characteristics of a small bubble, small density, lightweight, high strength, good heat insulation effect, and simple forming process. It has been widely used in cold storage and other projects in China. It can not only be performed but also can be sprayed or poured on site. It can make the whole insulation layer seamless and sealed, and there is no "cold bridge" running cold phenomenon. It is a kind of heat insulation material which is widely used and has a bright future. This material is also required to have flame retardant performance, and its oxygen index shall not be less than 26 according to regulations.
